WHAT IS HTML?

HTML Hypertext markup language (HTML) is a major   linguistic standard used for organizing and  formatting webpages and other documents on the World Wide Web. HyperText Markup Language describes the structure of a webpage semantically,.  and initially included hints about how a document should look. HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, and is a standard set of tags used for creating webpages. HTML HTML, or hypertext markup language, is used to format materials to display in web browsers.

Browsers do not display HTML tags, they use them to interpret a Web pages content. Developers use HTML code to develop the way that browsers render elements on web pages, such as text, hyperlinks, and media files. HTML code, although not visible to users, is interpreted by your web browser and used to correctly render page content.

HTML TAGS

HTML is the way that browsers render text, images, paragraphs, and other elements on a webpage. HTML is at the core of most web pages: It is how we tell browsers to lay out the content in headers, headers, paragraphs, images, links, lists, forms, tables, and so on. HTML defines the structure and layout of a web document using various tags and attributes.

In contrast, using HTML, Web users can create and structure sections, paragraphs, and links using elements, tags, and attributes. HTML should be used to only add text elements and structure within the page.

HTML & CSS

HTML provides structure to a page, CSS provides the layout (visual and audio) for various devices. HTML is made up of a number of elements that you use to wrap around, or surround, various parts of your content, in order to make it look a certain way, or behave a particular way. Hypertext is the text used to refer to other pieces of text, and a markup language is the set of marks that tells Web servers about the style and structure of the document.

HTML TAG & CSS SCRIPT

Since the late 1990s, when Cascading Style Sheets began working on most browsers, web authors have been encouraged to avoid using presentational markup in HyperText Markup Language, in an effort to separate presentation from content. Now, HTML is used extensively for formatting webpages using various tags available within HTML languages. The browser interprets the HTML markup tags, rendering the elements in a document, like the titles, in layouts which are tailored for the size and typefaces that are available for the screen.

Next, HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the code used to structure a webpage and its contents. Italicized text, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is bracketed by an em>/em> tag, while an a>/a> tag surrounding the word language indicates it contains a hyperlink (the href attribute) to Webopedias definition of the term.
